Can you overlay the required support edges on the proposed layer positions?

Why are the support arrows absent from the layer plan?

Yes. I have both drawings open. Some marked edges cross spaces between the cartons below. I can't tell whether the packaging design allows that span.
8分That allowance needs the packaging owner's answer before the layer is accepted.
8分And don't let a drawing that fits all the rectangles stand in for that answer. What load is inside the case? The bottom support requirement presumably exists for a reason.
5分The packing specification should identify that load, including any internal supports.
10分Do those arrows apply to the pallet layer only, or every supported carton?
3分Good question. The drawing note may define a narrower condition than we're assuming.
5分It says base support during stacking. Internal trays carry the product, but I don't have their drawing. I've asked packaging to clarify the support note and provide the tray details.
15分Will the integrator see that answer too? We once corrected the packing layout and left the tool designer staring at yesterday's neat rectangles.
22分Both are on the same review request. I included the proposed side gripper outline, though its drawing only shows the closed position.
5分Ask for the open position as well. The neighbours don't kindly move aside when the fingers release a carton.
19分And the sequence of placements matters; the neighbours present at release depend on it.
16分I'll add placement order to the request. We only have a finished-layer picture. It doesn't tell the tool reviewer which spaces are still empty.
11分That's the missing movement story. A complete layer can be geometrically possible and awkward to build with the proposed tool. Packaging and integration need to agree on something that can actually be stacked.
18分I've listed those as unresolved items on the review. No claim yet that rotation is wrong; we don't have enough detail to approve it either.
14分Could you post how packaging interprets those arrows when they reply? Useful detail to learn.
18分I haven't got an interpretation I can share yet. The diagram is still a proposal, not an approved layer. I'll bring the actual answer back when I have it.
0分Keep the sketch with that answer. 'Support underneath' can hide the whole argument.
