Ask whether the selected tray entry is retained anywhere else with that occurrence, though it still may not identify the physical tray the loader fitted.

The program entry is retained. Physical tray identity was never recorded. I have told support that distinction.

Has support explained what that pocket number refers to, before pickup or after the attempted transfer, so the next capture does not leave another ambiguous detail?

It is the requested source pocket, they say. Their revised capture request includes the fitted tray label.
