Show the supporting layer and pallet as well as the rotated cartons. Have packaging mark the required bearing areas on that geometry, with tooling adding the actual finger opening and withdrawal space.

FR5 carton support and withdrawal using the same gap

Are those bearing marks based on the packed carton, Hana? Our empty sample hid a stiffener ending over a gap.
11分Compare a simpler pattern too. Ours gave better drawn support but fewer positions, and the fingers still needed checking. Non-rotated wasn't a free fix.
17分Mina, and price the extra dispatch work if fewer positions mean more pallets. It can be a reasonable trade, but the completed-layer count won't show the person making another trip across the warehouse.
23分Toby, the marks come from our filled dispatch sample. Mina and Jasper, a lower-count arrangement is now a candidate, with extra pallet handling included in its comparison.
11分Does that candidate change which way the labels face? We have found a readable label important when someone checks a partial load, not just at final dispatch.
22分Who owns the partial-load instructions if the pattern changes?
4分Sam's label question is worth keeping separate from support. A readable label does not confirm the carton underneath is supported correctly, but an unreadable one can make a mixed or partial load harder to identify.
4分Can the partial pallet leave and return during the job?
8分If it can, show that returned condition in the comparison, not only a fresh empty pallet. Otherwise the first unusual layer will get handed to the operator as an improvised finishing job.
9分Sam, label orientation changes on the candidate. Nora, dispatch owns the instructions with the integrator. Matt, partial pallets can return; those actual states are being added to the shared review.
4分Hana, are the returned pallets still the same filled carton construction? I'd check that before applying the new support decision to old work carrying a familiar external label
13分Hazel, exactly the awkward question. Our planning comparison had to keep old-stock handling separate rather than wave everything through under one carton name.
1分They should be the same construction, Hazel, but dispatch has not confirmed all outstanding partial loads. I have left that check open rather than extend the proposed pattern to them.
7分Then keep the current method costed for any unmatched returns, Hana. It may remain a small exception, but assuming every old pallet fits the new proposal would make the saving too generous.
