I'd get both tool options drawn with a part in them, otherwise smaller is just a comforting word on an email

12分Actual approach, unfortunately; the machine supplier checked our section view against their model and the held blank crosses the handle volume
15分Can you approach from the other side without putting the stand in the setter's way? I'd ask before chasing a new gripper.

3分Who's going to change those proposed smaller fingers? We had a neat little tool that needed half the assembly apart to reach its fasteners. That part of the demonstration was mysteriously absent.
15分The alternate base spot takes our fixture trolley parking space, which I had rather lazily treated as empty floor; the setter would like his trolley back
10分I'd price moving the trolley parking too. It might be easy, it might add a walk every changeover, but at least you'd be comparing complete options.
4分And where does the trolley go during the actual exchange? Parking elsewhere only helps if it can still get to the machine.
10分I'd still keep the smaller tool in the comparison, once it has proper fingers and a holding assessment; moving everything around it isn't automatically the cheap answer
