Ordered against our fixture drawing. Delivered label has a different suffix. The gripper mounting area looks different too. Seller says equivalent. No comparison after 31 days. Tooling still on the bench, enjoying its retirement before employment. I need someone to account for the difference.
On a reused arm I checked, the sales drawing was for a different interface option; can you send both label photographs alongside the exact drawing they accepted?
An adapter also changes the installed tool stack, so their proposal needs a technical review against your application before it becomes an accepted remedy.
I would want the adapter identified on the future spares list too, otherwise the next person will order against the arm label and rediscover this whole correspondence.
Only the adapter offer. They won't explain the suffix. Thanks Chloe, I've asked for the complete assembly drawing and who will sign off its suitability.
Keep the original confirmation attached to that request. Their proposed fix needs to answer what you ordered; another loose attachment makes it easy to lose the point.
