The arm crate arrived. Its separate mounting-kit crate did not. Nineteen days of tracing the master freight number only brings back delivered, and the receipt never names the missing crate. Where should I ask for its own custody record?
Have the seller and consolidator connect the mounting crate's mark to each receiving and onward handover, with your goods-in team checking what the signed package count actually described.
Our receipt describes one wrapped pallet, containing the arm crate. Consolidator's contents sheet puts the mounting kit on a second pallet with other freight. No onward receipt for its crate yet.
Depot found its split-load sheet. The mounting crate was assigned to a local onward load which our receiving team never saw. Carrier is checking that load's delivery evidence.
Only the load number. They have asked the local depot to search for the physical crate and check the individual delivery records. I have kept our setup booking open, not assigned a delivery day.
Local depot located the marked crate in its held-freight area. They sent an exterior photograph matching the mark and reported no visible packaging damage. Our coordinator is arranging onward delivery; contents still need checking here.
