Ask for the datum scheme from the part drawing mapped onto the nest. Pin, side stops, supports, clamp direction. Then check in-tolerance samples against it; more contact points aren't automatically more location.

18分Then show them the width limits and the samples that don't settle. Two stops competing across that width can be the problem. Let the designer resolve the contact scheme before the clamp becomes a bending tool.
