Bracket movement calculated from different assemblies

The summary for our UR5e fixture proposal subtracts a clamped reading from a released reading and calls the difference movement. I traced the two sheets: same production batch, different bracket identifiers. One also went through correction before its final check. Which parts of this old comparison remain useful?

The individual checks may still be useful. The subtraction isn't a before-and-after result for either bracket. Can inspection identify what was measured and at which stage for each one?

Yes. The released reading is before correction and fails the specified upright dimension. Its later final check passes. The clamped reading belongs to another identified bracket with no released measurement retained.

Keep those two histories apart, because I'd hate a new fixture to be justified by movement that only exists in the spreadsheet.

And don't infer that the second bracket needed correction simply because the first did. I would take these as examples of what the new study must follow on the same identified assembly, not a measured correction rate.

Nina, agreed. Eli, does the proposed fixture change the contacts involved in that failed dimension, or is that connection still unexplained?

Still unexplained. The designer has withdrawn the movement calculation from the proposal. Inspection has reconstructed the failed bracket's released check, correction and final check as one history. That gives us a real failure example, but the proposed contact changes still need their own assessment.
