What decision does the pilot need to answer? Buying the whole cell is too much to hang on a few successful picks.

Can't recommend the FR5 purchase with fixture labour still blank

Whether our housings can be presented consistently without someone arranging every one. Fixture work is the big unknown. Arm choice can wait.
14分Then start with presentation. Can the operator show you what arrives in a normal box?
12分We have retained a normal box from the last run, including the tangled bits the demo conveniently never saw.
7分Don't tidy it for the trial. Sounds obvious, until somebody helpfully tidies it for the trial.
8分Who is recording the preparation time?
10分Let your colleague choose some cases with the operator. It'll help both of you trust the result, and she may spot the jobs you've stopped noticing because you know the setup too well.
-4分She agreed to that. Also wants the awkward end of the box included. Fair request; those last few parts take more handling than the rest.
9分She'll time preparation while I observe the presentation trial. Neither of us will be the person doing all the arranging this time.
14分Which nest revision are you testing?
6分Have you settled the trial's effort limit too? Otherwise every bad result can become permission to spend another afternoon improving the nest.
23分The afternoon is never in the original estimate either.
11分One provisional nest, drawing identified in the trial notes. We agreed a time limit and a review point before another revision is made. My colleague insisted on that bit.
19分What would make you stop at that review?
12分And don't bury the operator's work in the average. I want to know if one bad arrival needs a skilled person hovering there, even when most of the box sails through.
23分We would pause if routine presentation still needs constant arranging, or another tooling change can't be costed sensibly. Assistance gets recorded separately. The aim isn't to keep going until one video looks good.
6分Was my nest question missed?
4分She said the drawing was in the trial notes, but you're right, the revision isn't in this thread. Beth, which one are you using?
24分Rev C, Jonas. Sorry, I read your question too quickly. That's the one with the removable locating insert. We haven't ordered production tooling.
17分Trial finished within the agreed effort. Several normal arrivals still need hand arranging, so we're pausing the arm purchase and getting a priced presentation proposal. My colleague and I finally agree on the next decision.
