Our pallet drawing for a proposed FR10 station has a tidy interlocked layer, but I laid two paper layers over each other and the ends of the middle cartons sit over gaps. We pack spare-part kits in these cartons, and I don't know whether the neat pattern is actually supporting them where it should.
Try marking the carton support areas on those paper layers before anyone orders tooling, the outer rectangle isn't telling you much about what's underneath
I've asked packaging for the support guidance because the arrow on our carton drawing only identifies the label face, which I'd been reading as the stacking direction.
