Packaging has the insert drawing. Tooling only received carton dimensions. That explains part of this.
13分Make the lower layer visible beneath those bearing areas, Grace, so packaging can assess the actual spans rather than assuming every rotated carton is equally unsupported.
15分Include pallet-edge positions too. Different support underneath even when the carton orientation matches.
9分The edge position is worse than the middle. I've marked both for packaging.
10分Our purchasing comparison once priced the densest drawing and ignored the handling needed to make it work, so I'd ask for a lower-count candidate alongside this one if dispatch is willing to consider the extra pallets.
23分Dispatch will consider fewer cartons. They want the extra pallet movements costed first.

18分Who handles the incomplete pallet when an order ends, Grace? I'd hate to see the full-layer pattern finally sorted and then have the shift invent the last half-layer beside it.
