No. Their reply says adapter supplied, with an installation photo

I'd send the line that says additional beside that photo. The photo answers whether you received an installed adapter. Your missing item is the other one. Make them answer that quantity before you spend another page describing the whole delivery.

And check what your own stores sheet says. Ours once showed two because somebody entered the promised kit before it arrived. Then maintenance thought I'd lost the spare. Nothing physically missing from stores, just an optimistic spreadsheet

Do you need it for a booked tool change, Rick, or is it contingency stock? I'd check that before paying for a substitute. A missing spare is annoying without automatically being an urgent purchase.
5分Lin's story sounds familiar. I wouldn't put a promised spare on the available count either. Pending purchases can have their own lovely column, preferably nowhere near the one people use when something has broken.

Good, you've got room to get the answer without buying twice. I'd still tell whoever covers maintenance that there's no spare in the cupboard; the installed adapter and the unfulfilled kit line can stay separate in the handover

If you ask about local availability meanwhile, give them the identified assembly to match. No need to turn a stock enquiry into an order.
