our ur5e inspection pulse disappears before the app reads it

The PLC request for our plate inspection can vanish between application reads, and neither author's notes say who clears what; I want them to agree the ordinary request-and-receipt sequence before someone simply makes the pulse longer (the separately engineered safety functions are not part of this interface).
