Be useful. Be respectful.
Ask specific questions, explain your application, and describe what you have tried. Disagree with ideas respectfully. Harassment, personal attacks, and unsolicited advertising may be removed.
This is a global community with different first languages and levels of experience. Be patient with grammar, ask for clarification and do not mock someone's language or nationality. Give the country or region relevant to a purchase or installation without sharing a private address. State currencies, units and time zones when they affect the answer; do not assume another member has the same regulations, suppliers or support options.
Registration and a confirmed email address are required to contribute. Use a consistent display name, keep your account secure and do not impersonate another person. Do not use extra accounts to manufacture agreement or evade moderation. These guidelines apply alongside the Terms and Conditions.
Make experience clear
Identify your robot model, software, tooling, and use case when reporting results. Separate measurements from estimates. Disclose employment, sponsorship, free products, or a commercial interest in a recommendation.
Do not invent ownership, purchases, qualifications or test results. Identify source-based advice and hypothetical examples instead of presenting them as personal experience. A confident reply is not evidence of expertise. If advice may affect robot safety, defer to the manufacturer's documentation and a competent person responsible for the installation.
Buying advice and supplier disputes
Keep questions and complaints specific: identify the model, quotation or delivery issue and distinguish what you can evidence from what you suspect. Redact addresses, order numbers, tracking labels and private correspondence before sharing. Give updates when a dispute changes or is resolved. Do not organise harassment or describe an allegation as a proven finding. Purchases and payment disputes remain with the seller, marketplace or payment provider, not the forum.
Share responsibly
Post only material you own or have permission to share. Credit sources and remove confidential information from photographs, programs, and logs. Do not post instructions for bypassing protective systems.
A publicly available image is not automatically licensed for reuse. Link to the original when you cannot establish permission to upload it. Check embedded photo metadata as well as visible labels. Never publish robot access credentials, personal contact details or another person's confidential documents.
Useful discussions, not promotion
Choose a descriptive title and the closest forum category. Include the relevant robot, controller, software version, tooling and error message where known. Keep follow-ups in the same topic and acknowledge corrections. Avoid duplicate posts, keyword stuffing, referral spam and repetitive sales pitches. Suppliers are welcome to answer questions when their connection is clear and the answer is useful.
Moderation
Use the Report link on a discussion, reply, or member article to flag spam, abuse, inaccurate claims, or copyright concerns. Reports require sign-in and are not displayed as public posts. Include the relevant URL and a concise explanation, without sensitive personal information. Moderators may hide or remove contributions and resolve reports; publication does not mean a claim has been checked or endorsed.
For review of a moderation decision, identify the contribution and explain the concern through the report option where it remains available. Do not evade account restrictions. Discussions close after six calendar months without activity; start a new, relevant topic rather than trying to bypass closure.
