Privacy Policy

This notice describes the current private Application Robot test. "We" and "us" refer to its website administrators. For a privacy question or request, contact the administrator who provided your access using that same private communication channel. Do not publish sensitive information in a forum post or report.

1. Information handled by the site

The forum also contains generated test personas and conversations. These are distinct from real sign-in accounts. Do not supply real people's private information for inclusion in simulated content.

2. Why information is used

Account details support registration, email confirmation, sign-in, password recovery and ownership of contributions. Content and images are stored so the forum can display them. Reports and technical information support moderation, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. An email address and password are needed for an account, but you do not have to provide your real name to participate.

Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, account and contribution processing necessary to provide the service relies on performance of our agreement with you. Proportionate security, moderation and maintenance rely on legitimate interests in keeping the test safe and working, balanced against your rights. Processing required by law relies on legal obligation. Optional consent-based uses would require a separate choice; accepting the terms is not consent to advertising or unrelated use of your information.

3. What other visitors can see

Your published display name, contributions, dates and associated images can be read by people with access to the website. Sign-in email addresses and moderation reports are not published as forum content. Administrators can access records needed to run and moderate the service. Do not put anything into a contribution that you would not want other readers to retain or share.

Uploaded files are stored without automatic removal of embedded metadata. Photographs may contain location, device or date information; remove it yourself before uploading. Image filenames and direct media links can also reveal information. Unpublishing a post does not by itself remove its image file or copies downloaded by other people.

4. Supabase and other services

This installation uses Supabase for authentication, forum and guide records, and uploaded-image storage. Some static editorial assets, generated test data and development backups are also held in the website's files and development environment. A local website address does not mean all information stays on your computer: account and database requests are sent to Supabase.

Service providers process information needed to deliver their functions, including authentication emails and infrastructure logs. Their infrastructure and support may involve processing outside your country. This notice does not promise a particular storage region or transfer arrangement. The administrator can check the project's configured region and applicable provider safeguards for a request. See Supabase's privacy information.

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising in this test. Information may be disclosed where necessary to meet a legal obligation or handle a security incident, with the scope limited to what is needed.

5. Cookies, images and external links

Supabase sign-in uses authentication cookies to maintain and refresh your session. These support account access, not advertising. Signing out ends the site's active session; you can also clear cookies in your browser. Blocking them may prevent account functions from working. The application currently has no added advertising trackers or audience analytics.

Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. Where a page loads externally hosted imagery, your browser sends the image provider a request that can include your IP address and browser information. We do not control those providers' records or policies.

6. Retention and removal

Account records are kept while needed for participation and account administration. Published contributions are retained to preserve discussions until removed or the test data is retired. Reports may be retained while needed to resolve issues, prevent repeated abuse or establish or defend legal claims. Relevant criteria include whether a record is still needed, any unresolved dispute and any applicable legal retention requirement.

There is currently no automatic account-erasure or fixed backup-purge schedule in the application. Unpublishing posts and hiding replies changes their visibility but retains the underlying records. Closing a discussion after six months of inactivity does not erase it. Deletion requests need administrator review, including associated images, account records and backups. Backup copies may remain until separately removed or replaced; deletion is not instantaneous.

7. Your choices and rights

You can choose not to register, use a pseudonymous display name, sign out, and manage your contributions through your account. Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights have conditions and exceptions. Any consent for a future optional use can be withdrawn without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Send a request privately to the administrator who provided your test access. We may need proportionate information to confirm it relates to your account; never send your password. Requests are handled within the time required by applicable law. There is no self-service account deletion tool at present.

You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, contact the Information Commissioner's Office. You do not have to raise a complaint with us first.

8. Security, age and changes

Account verification and permission checks protect posting and account controls, but no service is entirely secure. Use a unique password and do not upload identity documents, financial details or confidential robot-system credentials. This test is intended for adults aged 18 or over; contact the administrator if a child has provided personal information so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

We will update this notice when data handling changes and highlight material changes before a new use where required. This notice is specific to the private test, not a notice for a future public service. The Terms and Conditions also apply to participation.
