our fr10 completion test loses its old message when i need it

An earlier completion marked a new housing check finished in our offline FR10 test. I asked the developer to hold that completion and release it after the next attempt starts, but resetting the test currently clears the held message as well. Very tidy, except it removes the fault we are trying to reproduce. Can the event queue have its own explicit reset so we can exercise restart with delayed messages still present, without making every test inherit leftovers accidentally?
