I can't choose an arm from this reach circle

I was asked to check the network provision for an FR5 beside our mill and ended up looking at the layout: the reach circle touches the steel blank in the fixture, but the proposed gripper and the parked door aren't drawn. Before we spend money on a model of the whole bay, would measured door positions and a full-size dummy of the loaded tool give the integrator enough to reject an obviously bad base location? I can't recommend buying this kit on the current sketch.
