bag preparation swallowing the packing trial

I reckon our FR10 kit-packing trial is solving the easy bit. It moves a presented bag into a tray quite happily. Before that, someone has to flatten the bag, turn the label and stop a loose washer collecting at the wrong end. I built a guide for the first bag size. Then we changed bags. Now I'm discussing a second guide and pretending this is steady progress because I like seeing the arm run. Anyone kept just one stable product on a setup like this, or is it time to price the ordinary packing bench properly?
