our polished-cover labels name a scratch nobody has located

I asked for the physical cover behind the FR5 scratch example. The team found the part but could not point to a defect under its agreed inspection conditions. They can reproduce the bright band by reseating it. Who should decide how this example is labelled while the imaging comparison remains open?
