the old bracket lesson forgot the straightening operation

I was preparing a teaching example from our proposed FR10 bracket cell and had almost finished a slide showing a good part leaving the fixture. Then the former setter asked where I had put the straightening operation. It was on the back of the route card, naturally. I have taken the slide out. The final inspection sheets survive, but the fit-up notes are vague and nobody has linked a released reading to a particular bracket before correction. What evidence would make this a useful fixture lesson instead of a polished explanation of something we do not know?
