Our brass-blank layout stops at the pickup point

I have paused the FR5 comparison until the gripper body and open machine door are included. The sketch reaches the brass blank, but it says nothing about carrying it through the opening or opening the jaws at the fixture. The supplier wants us to choose an arm first. Is there a sensible preliminary access check we can request without pretending the whole tool design is finished?
