Give both teams the same section with the actual strip and finger movement shown. Who owns resolving the clash?
17分Our project engineer owns the layout. He has the two marked drawings but no combined revision yet. The count in the estimate still comes from the original pattern.
18分I'd mark that count provisional now. My review had three drawings with different gaps before we put them together. It was surprisingly easy to think everybody had agreed the same arrangement.
23分Where is the packing operator in this review? A clever final gap can still be an awkward place to recover a damaged carton.
0分Anika, useful question, but Jo hasn't said the recovery task yet. The layout needs that task defined rather than an assumed hand reaching into the gap.

-1分Is the carton in the section the packed construction you currently receive? Same outside size doesn't always mean the supports inside stayed put. We nearly carried an obsolete assumption through a changeover because the pallet picture was unchanged.
23分Harish, yes, packaging checked our current packed sample. Anika, damaged cartons are removed upstream before pallet loading; the interruption procedure at the pallet still needs defining.
15分Keep those as separate tasks in the review. Upstream rejection doesn't answer what happens if a carton is damaged during placement.
17分Understood, Sofia. I've added that open question rather than describing the upstream check as recovery. The combined section now shows exactly where the channel crosses the strip.
23分Thanks for checking the construction. Has tooling offered a different withdrawal arrangement, or is packaging being asked to accept the same gap with a clearer drawing?
16分Two alternatives proposed: changed withdrawal space, or a lower-count layer. Neither approved by packaging yet. The estimate now labels the original count provisional.
4分Please post which survives the joint review. Including what happens to the interruption task, not only the carton count.
