Ask for the mass and centre of gravity of the whole loaded tool. Include the actual adapter.

24分I'd include the intended transfer in the supplier's assessment too. We had a classroom example where everyone could add the masses, but nobody had asked where the load sat or what motion was being proposed. A total on its own was not the whole question.
3分I've sent the proposed transfer and fixture drawing with the missing-item request. Supplier says the adapter choice may change the offset as well as the mass, which is rather the point.
8分Who pays for a different adapter if the complete assessment rejects the quoted one?
4分Settle that before ordering. Also make sure both offers use the same required grip position for the comparison.
