Clip doesn't establish contents. Cups sit on a clear patch away from the seam. Some of ours have a tape strip through that patch. I have asked packaging to identify those conditions, not just send a colourful selection.

Can the supplier use another contact region without changing your required carton orientation?

That would be a candidate to assess, not proof the tape can simply be avoided.

Supplier says alternate contact may fit, but needs our filled samples and dispatch orientation. Existing concept has only been demonstrated at the original contact patch. No purchase decision from that alternative yet.

Send the destination condition too. The review needs to cover approach, supported transfer and release into the dispatch lane, including what happens on an uncertain pickup. The protective arrangements for any physical trial belong with the responsible application reviewer.

Who is choosing which incoming cartons count as ordinary acceptable packaging?

That matters. A crushed reject carton needn't define normal production, but quietly removing every awkward accepted carton would make the trial flattering rather than useful.

Packaging owner is selecting from our accepted incoming stock. Damaged rejects remain separately identified. The sample list includes the taped contact region and rougher board we actually receive.

Will the list say filled condition, not just carton size and supplier code?

Yes. It records contents arrangement and presentation, with photos and physical cartons retained. We haven't sent them or run a new lift yet.

Does the alternative contact require somebody to turn each carton before loading?

If it does, include that preparation in the proposed process. A reliable pickup can still move the work onto a person who is absent from the quoted cycle time.

And ask the supplier to keep failed acquisitions in the report. I would rather see where the original concept struggles than get only the best transfer from the revised contact.

Supplier confirmed its alternative needs carton turning before presentation. We have agreed to compare that complete route with the original orientation, using our selected filled samples. Trial scope accepted by both teams; performance still untested.

Is the turning work assigned in that scope?
