A refurbished FR10 with an inspected sticker and no report

I'm considering a refurbished FR10 for our block-handling bench. The price is tempting, but the seller's inspection evidence is a sticker in a photograph. Before I pay for collection, I want to know what was actually checked. Or whether inspected just means someone looked at it standing still.

Ask for the inspection report tied to the arm and controller identifiers, including scope, findings and any repairs; the sticker alone tells you almost nothing about condition.

They sent a checklist with clean, power on and demonstration ticked. No serial on it. I've asked for the report for this actual unit, thanks Daniel.

And ask what the demonstration involved, with unresolved findings left visible rather than folded into a pass tick.

Get the included equipment list too, because a decent arm price can still leave you hunting for the correct cables, pendant or manuals after the collection van has gone.

Controller and pendant are listed. Cable details say as pictured, which is not helping. Their photograph cuts off most of the bundle.

Will they allow an independent inspection before collection? Paperwork matters, but I would not use a better photograph as a substitute for checking a used machine.

They say yes to an inspector visiting. I haven't booked anyone yet; first I want the identifiers and list so the visit has a clear subject.

Sensible. Agree the visit scope with someone qualified for the equipment. Do not ask for a mystery yes-or-no verdict called good robot.

Also ask about support for that configuration, Jamie, since the person inspecting it may not be the person able to source its missing bits later.

The seller has supplied the unit identifiers and a fuller cable list. Service history is still only their statement that it was refurbished. I'm arranging the inspection scope, not committing to collect yet.

Please report what the inspection finds; that will be more useful than the listing's condition adjective.
