Why are our trim-plate scratch labels ahead of the physical review?

I'm planning an FR5 fixed-camera check of brushed stainless trim plates, but streaks that move with presentation have already acquired scratch labels; how do I establish physical reference decisions and repeatable capture conditions before those guesses become our threshold targets?

Have quality examine identified plates independently; changing highlights neither prove nor rule out physical scratches.

I've retained the plates and original captures and asked quality for those decisions, with the existing labels marked unverified; the imaging comparison can document conditions but won't settle acceptance by voting on the prettiest photograph.

Have the physical decisions returned, and do you have a confirmed scratch for the next presentation comparison?
