I can't buy an arm from this reach circle

I'm buying an FR5 package for unloading steel blanks from our mill, but the only access drawing has no gripper body and no open door; what should I request before we agree on the arm?

Draw the missing bits. Seriously, that's step one.

Fair, but I need something more specific to send the supplier than my increasingly irritated drawing annotations.

Open door, complete tool, held blank, entry and exit. Not just the destination.

I've requested those and sent our machine photos; the gripper drawing is theirs, so they should already have that part.

Should. Check which revision they use.

Did the photos show the door handle? Ours clears the door itself but the handle sticks into a surprisingly useful bit of space.

Yes, include handles. They're very real when you hit one.

Is the tool shown with open jaws on entry? I'm asking because our drawing only had the narrower closed position.

No revised drawing yet, but I've added open jaws and the handle to the request; thanks, those are exactly the details I needed.

Revision arrived with a handle clash during entry, so the supplier is reviewing another base position; we've held the order while that gets checked.

There you go. Better on a drawing than during installation.
