Our moulded sleeve tips as the FR10 fingers close, and the accumulated pickup corrections are becoming harder to explain than the original fault; I want the fitted contacts, sleeve and source nest compared before blaming arm drift, although the receiving tray has not visibly moved.
Compare the sleeve's seat before closing with the complete fitted finger arrangement, using identified parts and the tooling drawing. Keep the edits for review too. The receiving tray staying put says little about what tips the sleeve at pickup
The retained footage shows it seated square until contact, and maintenance found one finger's lower pad sitting proud of the other; the pad references match, but the backing arrangements do not.
Drawing calls for matched contact positions; tooling found an extra packing piece left behind one pad from an old trial, with no place for it in the current assembly.
That gives maintenance a defined assembly correction. Have tooling confirm the actual contact positions afterwards, not just that the extra piece is gone. Controls still needs to assess the offsets introduced while it was fitted
They do: trial sheet and maintenance entry agree, and two older edits predate it; programmer has retained those separately while reviewing the later corrections against the restored contact arrangement.
Will the return check include the accepted sleeve range? One cooperative sleeve could make the correction look finished while another still exposes a contact problem.
Quality selected the accepted sleeve range and the supervised return checks covered pickup, transfer and release with the reviewed job; contact positions match the drawing and the sleeves remained square, so maintenance has closed this assembly fault and removed the old packing piece from the tooling stock.
Did the next maintainer get the matched backing arrangement in the replacement instruction, rather than only a note saying the mystery piece was removed?
