How do I model fingers opening inside the mill?

I'm looking at an FR10 removal proposal for brass blanks. The sketch shows a closed gripper at the fixture but not the release and withdrawal sequence, and it leaves out the open door. What should I give the reviewer so this becomes an access check rather than another reach picture?

Supply the tool's complete open and closed geometry, including fittings, the relevant part states and measured machine obstacles; then ask the reviewer to assess the actual sequence and robot configurations through it, rather than only the endpoints.

I have the finger drawings and part drawing, but the tool body is represented by a plain block. The pneumatic elbows could project towards the door. I'll ask for the assembly before sending another incomplete package.

Include the intended hose routing envelope as well, with provisional dimensions marked clearly if the design is unfinished; otherwise the rigid assembly can clear while the installed services occupy the remaining space.

The toolmaker can provide an assembly later, not during today's call. I have labelled the present drawing preliminary and asked the integrator what machine measurements they need in the meantime.

The door's actual stopped position and attached handles are a useful starting point, along with the fixture position relative to the proposed robot base and the space needed for manual setup.

Where is the release you mentioned: back at the fixture after a failed pickup, or at the destination tray? Those are different sequences to review.

I meant setting the part back in the fixture during recovery, which wasn't clear in my opening. Normal release is at the tray. I'll list the recovery case separately for the integrator to define and review.

That clarification helps. Our normal unloading path looked fine while the proposed recovery path was pure guesswork, so getting it onto the review list early is worthwhile.
