I nearly travelled to see a used bench because the advert showed a complete setup. The seller then explained that the laptop and one interface box belonged to the person demonstrating it. Nothing sinister, but not the package I had priced. Ask for the actual included arm, controller and pendant identities alongside what was tested, before you pay somebody to inspect a different combination.
The seller has sent an included-items list. It names the arm, controller and pendant, but the test sheet still refers only to the arm serial. I have asked for the tested combination.
Do that before travelling. I declined a different package when the tested pendant wasn't included and the substitute had no test. The photograph mattered more than the inspected sticker.
Omar's example is useful, though it does not establish a substitution here. Alistair, have they actually said the supplied controller differs, or simply failed to identify the one used?
Only failed to identify it, Callum. They have now said no further records are available. I am not arranging a visit at this price with that uncertainty; the purchase is off.
