I'm holding our UR5e shortlist comparison. One cap-unloading demo used our worn workshop tray; another used a supplier's new pocket tray. Both looked good. I need to know who supplies and fills the nicer tray.
Ask each supplier to show the complete proposed workflow from your incoming parts, including any tray conversion and changeover; their own tray may be a sensible solution, provided its cost and labour belong in the comparison.
Then have them include that transfer in the revised demonstration and estimate, with the operator doing it as proposed; the faster robot segment may still be useful, but the extra handling cannot remain invisible.
