I have separated held sleeves from rejected ones in the training notes, but our FR10 tray-loading handover still stops at transfer incomplete. An operator asked whether the sleeve in the fixture belonged to that attempt, and my notes had no answer.
They can start the job. They are right to call me when its history is uncertain. I need to get those decisions into the handover without dressing my own guesses up as recovery instructions.
That question is worth keeping exactly as asked. The fixture can contain a sleeve and the application can still be unsure how it got there. Who has responsibility for deciding what happens to that sleeve?
The shift lead decides its disposition with quality if needed; controls owns the sequence, but those responsibilities never appear together in our handover.
Then put both people in the review. I've seen a tooling close-up answer where something fits while leaving the person's actual job unexplained; your program state sounds like the software version of that.
Emma, yes, although I would also bring the operator who asked. Otherwise Anil ends up translating the question into whatever the two technical owners already know how to answer.
That operator is joining the review. I have added the interrupted placement and empty starting pocket as separate examples, with the unresolved item decision visible in each.
Ask a relief operator to read the eventual wording too. The first operator will remember the whole meeting; somebody arriving cold has only the screen and handover. That's where the missing explanation tends to show up.
The review has assigned both responsibilities and left the recovery behaviour for controls to verify. Relief-shift review goes after that; there is no revised operator instruction to issue yet.
