Our proposed FR10 removal job starts with a batch of 38 cylindrical aluminium blanks. The reach sketch includes the fixture point but neither the gripper nor the open machine door. I cannot choose an arm from that. What should the access review actually show?
I'd start by comparing the machine drawing with the actual parked door. Cheap check. A beautifully modelled hand still loses an argument with a handle nobody put in the model.
Clara, catalogue choice only. Rebecca, the machine outline came from an old quotation, not an installed survey. Those are two separate gaps in what I sent to the integrator.
Who can get the machine-side information, Gabriel? I'd ask the person responsible for the mill rather than leave the tool supplier guessing around an old outline
Nadia, yes. The adapter, finger geometry and grip position all need defining with the chosen gripper body. Gabriel's current selection is not yet a complete tool model.
Beth, the setter is worth involving too. Installed dimensions and the space someone needs for a changeover answer different questions. Neither should be inferred from a sales outline.
Beth, our machine lead can arrange the survey. Rebecca, I will include the setter in that request. I had not included changeover space in the original brief.
Good, because it's a miserable saving if every changeover starts with someone finding the tool programmer. Is the empty return included in their review scope too?
I have asked for loaded withdrawal and empty return, plus the complete tool definition. No revised layout has arrived. The original drawing remains useful only for locating the task.
Are those 38 blanks one size or a mixed batch, Gabriel? The grip position and loaded clearance could differ. I'd put the actual blank dimensions beside the tooling question.
Gabriel, will the machine lead identify the surveyed door position in the revised view? A door drawn open somewhere is not necessarily its actual parked position.
