One cover has three different scratches in our image folder

Our FR10 camera trial gave one polished cover three moving streaks. Folder calls them three scratches. Operators want examples they can actually use.

Start with that cover in your hand. Can you find any of those three marks on it, away from the trial lighting?

One little rub near the edge. None across the middle where the pictures shout about it.

Keep the edge rub in the comparison too. Easier to argue about the big travelling stripe when you've got a real mark to point at (and not accidentally ignore).

Who labels the examples before the operators get them?

Joel, is quality involved already? I'd want their sample decision before the software person starts making every bright pixel somebody else's problem.

Are operators checking the whole cover or only the face the camera sees?

Quality owns acceptance. Operators check the face and rim; the camera proposal only covers the face.

Then the rim still needs a named check in the handover.

Quality has checked this cover: edge rub allowed, middle clear. Imaging is rebuilding the example set. Rim check stays manual.

Thanks for coming back with the actual judgement. I'd like to see whether the new setup still finds that little rub, even though this one is acceptable.
