The supplier used a smooth carton in the vacuum demonstration. Our printed cartons have two board finishes and a seam under the proposed pickup area. What should their next comparison show before we accept the concept?
Good. Ask them to report the awkward result as well as the successful one. If one construction is excluded, that is a scope decision somebody at your end must make.
One finish passed their initial holding check. The other did not maintain the required hold over its seam. They offered a revised contact arrangement, not extra carton preparation.
The first revision did not. Its wider body conflicted with our receiving guide. They have withdrawn that revision and are checking a different layout of contacts.
Yes, with the original seams and contents. The new proposed outline clears the guide in the combined drawing, but the physical comparison is not complete.
