I cannot choose FR10 cover thresholds from unexamined bright patches

I want a small controlled comparison before expanding our polished-cover image set. The FR10 station is uncommissioned, and shifting streaks still carry scratch labels without linked physical decisions. How should those decisions be established and handed to the imaging specialist?

Can the person responsible for cosmetic acceptance inspect the retained covers against the actual requirement and identify each region for the imaging specialist? A folder labelled scratches cannot answer that, however much effort went into sorting it.

Quality has now examined the retained covers, with accepted and rejected regions linked to full views. The moving streak itself was not the rejected feature. We have not yet demonstrated visibility of the actual rejected region throughout the intended presentation range.

That is a worthwhile distinction to keep in the teaching material too. Who will update any existing annotated copies, so the old dramatic streak doesn't keep getting taught as the defect while the camera work follows the corrected reference?
