On receiving our FR5 from an unnamed Chinese seller I checked the main hardware against the order. The fitted gripper adapter is correct, but the additional one promised in the spare kit is absent. Six days of next-shipment replies with no reference. What should I ask them to confirm for sample-sorting spare cover?
Ask if that additional adapter is in stock and when it can leave on its own. Has their acknowledgement actually named the spare, not the one already fitted?
Their acknowledgement refers to the kit, not an adapter reference. I've sent back the contents agreement and identified the missing extra adapter separately from the installed one.
Match the requested spare to the supplied assembly before accepting a substitute or credit. A similar adapter may alter the interface or tool geometry; it isn't something to approve from a sales description just because the mounting holes look familiar.
And tell stores which one is missing. We can be very good at recording that a robot arrived and much less good at recording the little item someone will need months later. No spare should be listed as on the shelf from a kit promise.
They now name the extra adapter, but still offer no availability or dispatch date. Stores has marked it outstanding. I have requested separate supply against that identified line.
That is enough to keep the purchase discrepancy precise. Let maintenance decide what the missing spare means for your sorting plan; don't infer either that work must stop or that the omission is harmless from this thread.
Has separate supply been agreed since your request? I am interested whether somebody has taken responsibility for this adapter instead of keeping it on a general future-shipment list.
No agreement or parcel reference yet. Purchasing has the named missing line and maintenance has the cover question; the delivered main package is recorded correctly, but I cannot close the spare-kit issue.
