Both quotes weigh my housing. Neither weighs the adapter or long fingers. Who should join those numbers up?

Do either show the complete tool, or just a housing beside an arm?

Tool pictures, but no complete assembly mass or load position. Hose fittings aren't shown either.

Ask each tool supplier for the complete identified assembly and load information. Then the integrator can assess that assembly against the intended motion and applicable robot limits. Part mass alone leaves too much out.

Does either quote actually include that integration assessment, or have both simply declared the part light enough?

And include the empty tool states. Those fingers don't disappear after placement.

Neither includes a named assessor. I've asked who owns it, with the full assembly details Ben listed.

Include what must be returned: assumptions, applicable limits and a result for the defined handling task. A name on a quote isn't much help without the work attached.

Ben, agreed, though I would also ask what they need from Priya before they can give that result; an incomplete task description can stall this even after the tool data arrives.

They have the housing, nest and intended sequence. I've asked them to identify any missing task information explicitly.

Any answer on the fittings yet?

One supplier asked for our hose connection arrangement. No complete assembly or assessment back yet.
