The refurbished UR5e has an inspection sticker but no report

I asked to see the inspection behind a used UR5e listing and got a photograph of the sticker. Very clean sticker. No scope or results. We're considering it for spacer transfer, and I haven't booked collection. What would make the next answer worth travelling for?

Ask for the report against that unit's identity, plus what equipment is included. A sticker isn't much use to whoever has to receive it. Your spacer job will still need its own suitability review even if the inspection report is decent.

They've sent a generic checklist. No unit identity filled in, and the controller photograph is separate.

Before travelling, ask them to identify the actual arm and controller being offered together. I mean the pair you would collect, not another example from their stock. You can settle that question remotely.

Our receiving team once had an inspection report but couldn't match it to the delivered equipment. The check itself may have been fine; the missing connection cost us time. I'd want that settled alongside the scope.

Oscar, does the price include the pendant, necessary connection cables and the files they expect you to use? A cheap package can become a parts hunt before your integrator even gets to the spacer tooling.

Priya, yes, though I'd ask for a plain included-items list first. Otherwise a seller can answer 'complete' and we spend another exchange finding out what that word meant.

Got the items list. Pendant included, tooling not included. Still no unit-specific inspection. Collection can wait.

That's a useful buying decision in itself. I wouldn't let the cost of the trip pressure you into accepting whatever is sitting there when you arrive.

Has the seller said whether a unit-specific report exists, Oscar? Worth getting a direct yes or no before arranging anyone to review a document that may never turn up.
