Our bracket sheet uses aligned for two different checks

The UR5e proposal assumes our old bracket correction routine will remain. Its starting evidence is an aligned tick before welding and a failed angle reading after release. I want to know what that tick actually checked.

Ask the original checker what they looked at. A tick can be a fit-up observation without being a measurement of the angle that later failed.

Setter says the tick meant the holes lined up with the fixture pins. Nobody measured the released angle at that stage. The estimate described it as an initial angle pass.

Correct the description first. Hole fit and the final angle are different checks (even if somebody called both alignment). Keep the hole observation, but don't turn it into the missing angle reading.

Does the failed angle reading belong to an identified bracket before its correction?

Yes, the traveller links that failure and the later pass to the same bracket. Quality is setting out the check stages and supports so the next example includes an actual first released measurement.

New linked example completed. The first released angle fails and the post-correction check passes on the agreed support. Fabrication is reviewing fit-up and location; our estimate no longer describes the old hole check as an angle result.

Thanks for closing that wording loop. Does the costing copy now show the same limited evidence as quality's sheet?
