What was inspected on this FR5, besides the paint?

I went through a refurbished FR5 listing for our puck-handling bench. Lovely photos, fresh-looking surfaces, one line saying inspected. No description of the work or tests. What should I ask for before paying for an independent viewing, so that visit covers the right kit?

Ask which arm and controller are included, then what 'inspected' covered on that pair. I mean the actual offered equipment, not a sample checklist they use generally. A viewing will be more useful if the inspector knows what has and hasn't been claimed.

The seller has supplied the two identification labels. They say the inspection is an internal check and haven't sent the scope. I am asking again before booking anything.

Did they say who did it?

Ask what's included in the box too. Controller, pendant, cables, available records. An attractive arm price gets less attractive when half the things needed to assess it are 'available separately'.

Rebecca's point is worth doing before travel. I have seen 'complete' mean complete in the photograph, with the borrowed pendant conveniently forgotten when the list arrived.

The list now includes the pendant and cables, matched to the pictured equipment. Inspection details still missing. I've passed what we have to the independent inspector and asked what they can establish at a visit.

Have them price that scope before you book. You want an inspection you can use, not someone arriving and discovering they were expected to fill every gap in the seller's paperwork.
