Which bracket angle belongs on our FR5 planning sheet?

Our bracket sheet says angle checked in fixture, then straightened. I need the released result for our FR5 plan. Where should I look?

Start with whoever accepted the finished brackets. They may have a separate inspection sheet. I helped assemble a handover where the production tick only meant the part was ready for the next operation, which nobody had written beside the tick.

Quality has a final sheet. It is after straightening, with no earlier angle listed.

Then ask the fabricator how they decided a bracket needed straightening. There might be a gauge or a comparison sample that never made it into the folder. I would want that explained to the fixture designer.

Don't buy another clamp on the strength of that sheet. Can you get someone to show you the old check? Easier than arguing over what a tick meant.

I can ask. The old fixture is still stored here.

Fabricator showed me a separate angle gauge. They check after release, then send some brackets for correction. Nobody kept those first readings.

There we go, a missing operation. Not a mysterious robot requirement. Did they show where the bracket rests for that check?

Our check bench went missing from a layout because it looked like spare furniture. Give the planner its dimensions too.

Keep that check in the estimate until a trial shows what the new process produces after release

Toby, you can still use the final sheet to describe what was accepted. Just do not ask it to explain the earlier condition. The missing readings will need new evidence if they matter to the fixture proposal.

Yes, Mei. Gauge sits on the base face. I've added its support sketch and kept the check bench.
