The FR10 spare kit is always joining a shipment nobody can identify

Our working FR10 package is complete. Its promised spare kit isn't here, including the extra pendant cable. The seller keeps saying next shipment and now suggests I add another order so they can put the spare in that box. I don't need another order. I need the thing already included in this one. The installed cable is recorded separately, so we can stop sending each other photographs of it. Has anyone got this down to a useful supply-or-credit decision without spending more just to give dispatch a box?

Have they stated the missing kit contents and outstanding quantities in one place, Rachel, or has the cable discussion swallowed the rest of the kit?

No extra purchase should be needed just to define their offer.

Ask for a separately priced dispatch proposal against the existing spare line, or a specific credit amount, with the kit contents still listed; next shipment gives you neither a parcel nor a decision

Hazel, there's also a spare seal pack. You're right, it's vanished from their last three replies. I've asked for both outstanding lines and the separate dispatch or credit options.

Price a suitable replacement separately before agreeing a credit. Not saying you have to buy locally, but a small refund can leave a surprisingly large gap when you actually need the cable.

Does the proposed credit cover both items, or have they only offered to refund the cable?

No amount offered yet. I asked for alternatives, they answered only that a credit was possible. So neither item has a usable credit offer at present.

Possible is doing quite a lot of work there.

Robin's replacement comparison needs the actual compatible cable identity too, not just a seller's photograph of something with similar ends, and the person responsible for the assembly should confirm it

Maintenance has the controlled cable reference and is seeking a separate supply price. Original seller has now quoted a cable-only credit. Seal pack still described as following later.

Then compare the cable credit on its own and leave the seal pack outstanding. Don't close the entire spare kit because one line has finally become answerable.

Have they agreed the seal pack remains an open balance?

They have in the message, not on the statement. Cable replacement quote is higher than their credit. We haven't accepted it or placed a replacement order.

Can the seller supply the cable separately instead?

And get that separate carriage cost explicit before comparing it with the replacement price, because free inclusion in another order isn't an option you actually need

Asked again for separate dispatch with carriage shown. Purchasing is keeping both spare lines open while we compare that answer with the credit and replacement cost. Nothing settled yet.

Worth leaving that difference visible. A credit can still be your least painful choice, but it shouldn't turn the missing spare into a cost nobody remembers when judging the original package price.
