Cannot choose our FR10 panel tool from one seal on the bench

They say an operator will separate the panels. That was not in the quotation, and our operator already covers another bench.

Can that person prepare a full representative order without abandoning the other bench, or is the plan quietly borrowing another pair of hands?

And ask who separated the demonstration sample, because that preparation may be rather more careful than ordinary incoming panels receive.

So keep manual preparation as a costed option, not a free assumption; it still leaves Henry's support question, even if one person can reliably separate every panel.

Yes. I'm not against a manual step, I'm against assigning it to someone already busy and then saying the robot freed them up.

Does the receiving tray support the panel before the tool releases it?

The current drawing stops with the panel above the tray. I have asked for the landing, support and release sequence, not just another view of the cups.

A useful place for the tray designer to join the discussion, since the panel has to arrive in a shape that the tray can actually receive.

Tray designer is joining. The tool supplier is also proposing a single-panel check, but has supplied only a sensor description so far.

Ask what that check can distinguish and what happens when it cannot decide; naming a sensor does not tell your operator what to do with a suspect pickup.

Has anyone assessed ordinary panel variation in that proposed check?

Not yet, Henry. We have retained panels from two incoming stacks for the review, including the ones that were awkward to separate. No trial result.

Zara, will the preparation comparison include putting those awkward panels somewhere and getting the next stack, rather than just timing the easy separations?

Hassan, yes, that is the bit I would put beside the supplier's preparation claim before accepting an operator-time estimate.

Both are included in the study request. I've left the staffing saving blank until we measure it, and the tool choice open until support, release and single-panel handling are reviewed.
