our trim plate changes defect when it is turned round

Different trim family from my earlier cover pictures: this FR10 trial uses brushed stainless plates, and the bright band jumps across the brush direction when a plate is turned. Two people labelled the pictures as different scratches. I want quality to judge the physical plate before we tune anything around those labels.

Is the physical plate still identifiable from those images?

Yes, it was the only plate in that small capture set and we retained it separately. Quality has it now, with both full images. The moving band isn't being used as a defect label meanwhile.

Keep known rejected plates in the lighting comparison too.

Quality accepted the retained plate and provided a rejected sample with an identified scratch. Both are in the next presentation comparison. We haven't chosen a new light or threshold. Thanks, Kai; easy to get distracted by the impressive moving stripe.

Has repeat seating been checked before that comparison?
