Our delivered UR5e adapter has a locating boss absent from the agreed drawing. Tooling remains unfitted. Equivalent how?

Ask them to compare the boss and mating face against your agreed tooling assembly. I don't know what their suffix denotes, but it doesn't explain the visible difference.

Comparison arrived. The boss belongs to another supplied option. Seller offers to machine it off locally.

I'd ask for the agreed adapter as an option before accepting a modification. Any proposed machining needs a defined engineering review, not a sketch of the bit they want gone.

Asked for the correct adapter and its availability. No machining agreed. The installer has the mismatch drawing now.
