Our proposed UR5e bezel handling leaves visible bands on the samples. The supplier offers softer pads, but quality has not judged those bands and the proposal says little about holding or release.
Get quality to look at the actual bezels first. Keep one identified before-and-after pair as well; otherwise you're comparing pad prices against a mark that might already be there.
The retained incoming bezel has the broad band already. A finer line appears on the handled sample; quality is checking both against the finish requirement before we change the tooling scope.
Useful distinction. If the finer line fails, ask where it first appears before blaming the pads; the supplier still needs to cover complete holding and release, whichever contact material they propose.
