Our FR10 is here, but the fingers have a different recess from the set shown handling our inspection pieces, and the seller has answered my comparison photos with another picture of the delivered fingers; how do I get from yes, that's what arrived to whether it's what we agreed to buy?
I've sent the list and the trial frame together now, with the recess circled on both sets, because their first answer didn't even acknowledge a change.
A different recess could be harmless or important. You don't know yet. I'd avoid arguing from the photograph that the new fingers cannot work; ask them to establish what changed and show the agreed handling with that actual set.
They acknowledge a revised set now and say the recess is for another sample size, but our sample trial used the smaller inspection pieces, so I've asked them to address those rather than the extra capability.
Extra capability is an odd answer when the agreed job hasn't been shown. Include placement and release in the request, Aisha. Fingers which hold your small piece but don't let it enter the inspection nest would be a fairly expensive party trick.
