Repeated pickup changes on my FR5 tray-loading job seem to help briefly, yet the machined aluminium puck looks less square in the grip; what should I inspect before another coordinate edit, when the tray only appears unchanged?
My recent puck review found a locating-face issue rather than proving arm drift. Preserve the edits and identify where your puck first tilts, then inspect that source seating and the fitted contacts under maintenance's procedure.
Our recording starts after lift, so it doesn't show when the tilt begins; the source fixture and fitted fingers are identified, but we need an earlier view.
Get that before-contact observation with a retained puck. An as-found inspection can run alongside it, but don't clean away evidence before recording the condition.
Maintenance found uneven wear on one finger's contact face and photographed it; the puck in the new recording seats squarely before contact, then changes angle during closure, which makes that contact worth reviewing rather than simply reteaching.
Tooling has specified replacement contacts, not fitted yet; the programmer also has the saved pickup history for the restoration review. We have a contact finding and a matching observation, not a verified repaired job.
Keep the replacement-tray comparison in that eventual check too. My own seating improvement still needed the accumulated edits reviewed before it could be called restored.
