Send identified packed examples spanning those seams and finishes, with the intended pickup and destination shown, and request the complete handling sequence plus any preparation or selection it requires.
Supplier has both packed constructions and the seam positions; it says one cup position needs changing, but hasn't returned the revised handling assessment yet.
Ask what that changes through release as well, and whether both constructions remain in scope; a successful revised pickup on only the easier case would leave your comparison unfinished.
